Our History
Harman's Farm Market is a family owned and operated vegetable, fruit, and cut flower farm located in rural Churchville, Maryland.
In 1988, Tom and Paula Harman began by growing 2 acres of sweet corn and 50 tomato plants. We started offering our produce to our friends and neighbors from a cart not far from our home farm on Rt. 136 in Churchville. During the ensuing years, we have increased the volume and variety of what we grow, to now include a wide range of fruits, vegetables, and cut flowers, grown on about 50 acres. Our small cart has been retired and in 2001, we established our farm market at our current location on Rt. 22 in Churchville.
During this time, we were blessed with two fine boys, David and Daniel, who now help us on the farm.
Our goal at Harman's Farm Market is to bring you the finest quality fruits, vegetables, and cut flowers that we can grow. We also enjoy helping our customers see how their produce and flowers are grown by growing much of it close to our market.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our market and hope that you chose us as your place to shop for the freshest, local produce in the area.
