Specialty Items

In addition to the fresh produce and cut flowers that we offer at Harman's Farm Market, we also carry a carefully selected assortment of other locally produced products.  We realize the importance of supporting local farmers and producers and wish to share this philosophy with our customers.

Listed below are some of the specialty items that you will find in our market:

• Keyes Creamery Cheese and Ice Cream:  Keyes Creamery of Aberdeen, Harford County, produces some of the best cheese and ice cream in our area.  Milk from their dairy cows is transformed into an array of delicious flavors.  Treat yourself and discover your favorite flavors!

• Cybee's Honey:  Try some of Cybee's clear, delicious honey.  Cybil Preston, of Jarrettsville, not only cares for her own bees, but is also a bee inspector for the Maryland Department of Agriculture.  Her knowledge of beekeeping shows, not only in the classes she teaches on the subject, but in the outstanding honey that her bees produce.

• McCutcheon's Products:  We carry a large selection of products from McCutcheon's of Frederick County.  They are a family owned operation which uses locally grown produce to create their delicious products.  Preserves, jellies, butters, relishes, dressings, pickles, if you can put it in a jar, McCutcheon's produces it!  Their strawberry preserves received 1st prize in the taste testing contest at the Southeast Strawberry Expo.  Tom and I were there, and the competition was stiff!
  

• Lohr's Apple Cider:  We are proud to offer Lohr's delicious apple cider for your convenience in the fall.  I'm convinced that there is no other cider better than Lohr's.  Try some for yourself and see if you don't agree.
